Real estate sales to foreign nationals: A potential market remaining untouched

The revised Law on Housing which has become effective since July 1st, 2015 stipulates that foreign institutions and individuals, enterprises with foreign capital, branches and representative offices of foreign enterprises, and foreign nationals permitted to enter Vietnam are allowed to purchase, rent, receive or give away, inherit and own housing in Vietnam. The newly formed regulation has drawn great attention from foreign nationals currently residing and working in Vietnam, and international investors alike. Both economists and real estate enterprises regard this as a driving force for future market, which helps stimulate business activities and create a more transparent and healthier competitive environment. 


Foreign nationals interested in RE purchase in Vietnam

Asian Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company (AsiaReal), a member company of AsiaInvest Corporation has revealed that they have an increasing number of clients showing interest in purchasing housing in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
